Entrepreneurial Culture

Impressions from the Entrepreneurial Culture Dialogue Workshop

We would like to send out a big thanks to all participants!

After exploring exciting topics in previous years, like “The Limits of the University” and “Strategic Identity,” the Innovation and Dialogue Workshop of the University of Freiburg turned its attention to the topic “Entrepreneurial Culture” at the beginning of 2011: What is the current state of entrepreneurial culture at the university? What does a good entrepreneurial climate feel like? How can our diverse university build up successful structures for promoting entrepreneurs in the future and how can this contribute to the university’s mission statement der Universität beitragen?

The Workshop

We invited all students, teaching faculty, and employees of the university as well as representatives from external networking partners to enter into a dialogue with us concerning entrepreneurial culture at the university in order to answer these questions, gain new perspectives on entrepreneurship in the university context, and shape our future together.

The Innovation and Dialogue Workshop “Entrepreneurial Culture – Promoting Academic Entrepreneurs in 2020” took place on Thursday, 10 February 2011, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 6th floor of the administrative building.

The official invitation [de] from Prof. Dr. Jürgen Ruhe, Vice Rector for Internationalization and Technology Transfer, provides initial information on the workshop. Further information on support for entrepreneurs is available on the homepage of the CTO.
